In spite of the tiredness which is read on their line drawns, they present their work. Twenty-nine high-school pupils come from zones of
priority education of whole
France presented to a jury of professors the fruit of a training course Equal opportunity, at the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of architecture of Marne-the-Valley (Ensa). An examination symbolic system for these young people who, all the week, discovered the world of architecture and the studies which carry out to it, framed by the teachers and the students of Ensa. Carried by the foundation Culture & Diversity, the goal of this training course is to accompany by the pupils resulting from zones from priority education and by professional trainings towards schools from architecture . For these last year secondary school students, it is also the means of increasing their chances of admission to the contests of the schools, once the baccalaureat out of pocket. On the twenty-nine pupils having taken part in the training course, six come from the academy of Créteil* and among them four of Seine-et-Marne. For William Marois, the vice-chancellor of the academy of Creteil which attended the presentation of the reports/ratios of training course, this experiment makes it possible to give to the young people the elements to make a success of their entry in the schools of architecture . He recalled the trainees that they were accomodated in Seine-et-Marne, a department which covers half of the
Ile-de-France and where most of the architectural development of the area will be done . These studies are among longest and most demanding of higher education. But if one invests oneself and that one does not count his hours, one can take pleasure enormously there , estimates Alain Derey, the director of Ensa. Who adds that the fact of accomodating these pupils come from different backgrounds allows an emulation, the more so as one can completely succeed, even if final a scientist were not made! . * The trainees of the academy of Creteil came from the Benjamin-Franklin colleges with Rochette, Andre-Malraux with Montereau-Fault-Yonne, Eugene-Hénaff with Bagnolet (Seine-Saint-Denis) and Samuel-Champlain in the Chennevières-on-Marne (the Valley-of-Marne).
