Mishap a 63 days whose Belgian business man of origin will have much evil to go back because of the psychological and physical after-effects (its kidnappers cut the phalange of a finger to him) but also of the behavior of his close relations during his captivity.
The lawsuit opened in 1982, four years after the facts. Six men and two women appear and indicate to have hesitated with the removal of three other captains of industry: Marcel Dassault, the baron Rotschild and Lilianne Bettencourt. They will be condemned to custodial sentences from 2 to 20 years, the kidnappers bailing out of the heaviest sorrows (15 to 20 years).
Thirty four years after the facts, Alain Caillol leaves one entitled book Lumière (Editions Cherche Midi), in which he reports the business. The Parisian one returned with him on one of the places of the drama to the research of the exact place of the detention of the baron Empain. And of memories.
